ROBERT PLANT Makes Surprise Appearance At LIZARDS/VANILLA FUDGE Gig

According to ElectricBasement.com, legendary LED ZEPPELIN frontman Robert Plant made a guest appearance at a LIZARDS/VANILLA FUDGE U.K. gig last week. On March 13, at the Rock Cafe 2000 in Stourbridge, Plant joined THE LIZARDS (featuring drummer Bobby Rondinelli of RAINBOW/BLACK SABBATH fame) and VANILLA FUDGE during an encore featuring both bands onstage together. Plant performed a rocking version of the CACTUS classic "Parchment Farm" in honor of bassist Tim Bogart (CACTUS, VANILLA FUDGE) who had taken ill that evening. THE LIZARDS are currently performing with CANNED HEAT in France.
